Meet the Team

Christina Vickers

Therapist (under supervision) • Practice Owner

I work with adults, adolescents, and couples who are ready to move beyond simply getting through life.

Whether you're healing from trauma, navigating anxiety, rebuilding after betrayal, or learning to stop abandoning yourself to keep everyone else comfortable, therapy should feel like a place where you can finally be honest.

My style is warm, compassionate, and direct. I'll celebrate your growth, challenge the patterns that no longer serve you, and walk beside you as you build a life that feels more peaceful, connected, and authentic.

Many people have spent years talking about their problems. Talking matters. But sometimes talking isn't enough.

I use evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, parts work (IFS-informed), DBT skills, & CBT to help clients move beyond understanding their pain and begin healing from it.

Because healing isn't just about thinking differently. It's about helping your brain and body finally realize the danger has passed.

Therapy with me is...

Honest.

I'll gently challenge the beliefs and patterns that keep you stuck.

Collaborative.

We're a team. We'll decide together what healing looks like for you.

Practical.

You'll leave sessions with insight and tools you can actually use.

Trauma-Informed.

Everything we do moves at the pace your nervous system can tolerate.

Human.

You don't have to have the right words here.
You just have to show up.

A little about me

I'm a wife of more than 20 years, a mom to four grown children, and a proud dog mom to two very spoiled pups. When I'm not in the therapy room, you can usually find me with a good book, planning my next trip, or looking for a new adventure. I believe some of life's best moments happen when we step outside our comfort zone.

Long before I became a therapist, I spent years walking alongside people through some of the hardest seasons of their lives in social work and ministry. For more than 15 years, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through crisis, loss, change, and healing. Those experiences continue to shape the way I show up for my clients today.

I also know what it's like to sit on the other side of the couch. My own healing journey and years in therapy transformed my life and strengthened my marriage. Because of that, I believe deeply in the work we do together. I know how vulnerable it feels to ask for help, and I know how powerful it can be when you find a space where you don't have to carry everything alone.

Whether this is your first experience with therapy or your tenth, my hope is that you'll feel welcomed, respected, challenged when you need it, and supported every step of the way.
